What we do

In addition to our legal services, we provide advice to professional services firms, focused on leadership and management.

We bring the experience and expertise of two senior partners from a global law firm who have had a host of senior national and global management and leadership roles. We really understand professional services firms.

We are not looking to sell technology, or ‘tools’ – we simply provide personal, unbiased, independent advice on the issues that confront the leadership and management of all professional services firms, from strategy, to clients, to your people, to you.

Our goal is to make your business more successful, and profitable, and for you and your people to be more fulfilled.

Who We Are

Jason Ricketts

Jason spent 30 years at the firm now known as Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer. In that time his roles included:

  • Managing Partner Perth
  • Board member
  • Managing Partner Australia
  • Global Lead Projects Finance and Infrastructure, Latin America and Clients & Sectors
  • He subsequently served as General Counsel at Minderoo and Tattarang where he sat on the Executive Teams of those organisations.

He is an FAICD and has served or serves as a board member of Squadron Energy, Wyloo, Minderoo Pictures, Leadership WA, Lifeline WA, Lions Eye Institute, Art Gallery of WA, Murdoch University Art Collection Advisory Board and St Stephen’s School.

Professional Advisory

Tony Joyner

Tony spent 38 years at the firm now known as Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer. In that time his roles included:

  • Managing Partner Perth
  • Global Board Member
  • Chair of Global Risk management and Audit Committee
  • Global Telco Tech and Media Lead
  • Global Digital Transformation Lead

He has served as a board member of the Chamber of Commerce and Chair of Scitech. He is currently Chair of the Lions Eye Institute, the Committee for Perth, and the WA Justice Association, and director of the Health Translation Group.

Between them, they have spent decades in many roles – they have have seen it all.
